Tony Gill is "Uniting Families"
Starting a music project with only twenty-five dollars is something most anointed inspired musicians don't want to do, but that is exactly what Minister of Music Tony Gill had when he began his CD project "Uniting Families". Proceeding with a vision from God, the will and determination that he could do it, he set out to reconnect his own family. Minister Gill's family was rich in talent with a history of music making, all he needed was their input, acceptance and cooperation and his vision would come to life. He started his journey in a faith walk that would take seven years to complete, but he did it. Minister Tony also broadened his perspective in allowing the gifts and talents of others to come before his own, he could have used the numerous songs he had written, but he included songs from others, and as God promised Uniting Families as a beautiful compilation of talented musicians and vocalist, working together. He not only united his own family but the family of the Body of Christ.
Tony shares his testimony, struggles, and victory in his interview with Dr. Anita. Check the Joy Comes Player and be blessed. Contact Minister Tony Gill by emailing him at llydgill@yahoo.com.
Susan Elaine Jenkins grew up a preacher’s kid in California. The oldest of three children, her family consisted of preachers and teachers which gave her the desire to teach. I know her story has touched the lives of many people and she will be blessed for sharing her innermost heart with the world! | Running from scandal -- in her family, church and community life -- Susan moves from California to China. At first, the adventure of experiencing an exotic culture brings the escape she craves. Gradually, as the layers of mystery and reserve fall away, she gets to know her new Chinese friends on deeper levels. At the same time the self-protective layers around her own heart peel back painfully, exposing her inner brokenness. By Janice Frame Contributing Writer

God is too big to put in a box.....
| When asked what gospel music has done to change his life, HB says “Gospel music has kept me sane in an insane world; it has given me peace in the midst of all my storms; and, it has given me Purpose and Direction.” HB’s music is his way of sharing God’s love and graciousness with others. Some of his songs use an upbeat tempo that gets you rocking on your feet, to speak of the change of his ways when God took him off the streets. Others, through a more softer toned encounter, encourage you to “Hold On” and be encouraged when times get rough. HB’s music is an astounding story of hope, praise, laughter, understanding, happiness, unity, redemption, faith, and most of all, EVERYTHING working together for your good. “Despite of what the world says, I encourage you to know God for yourself, because he IS real and he is concerned about you. Having your own relationship with God is more precious than anything that the world can offer you. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.” So, I encourage you to know Him for yourself. He gave, so now you must give. It’s Your Boy H. B. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING Y'ALL ON TOUR. KEEP YO EYES OPEN FOR ME. GOD BLESS ITS YO BOY HB. HOLY BOY 4 LIFE |

Conceived out of rape and no stranger to pain, David Carruthers was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder at eighteen, and experienced several mental breakdowns. While suffering silently as a young man, God led David to write Kill Your Giants which speaks candidly about “common giants” that seek to impede us from our spiritual, emotional and financial empowerment.
“Dreams are easily accessible and possible if we lay aside the weights that hold us back,” he states. In Kill Your Giants David analyzes the dangers of lust, anger, rejection, pride and the stubborn voices of fear and gives practical and biblical ways to remove and destroy these giants before they destroy our purpose.
David found his passion in writing poems and songs, in music and in God. For many years he sang with the acclaimed group, Fortress. David has written over 100 songs among them “Tell of His Goodness” a number one hit in Bermuda for Regina Wingate and co-wrote the moving ballad “O Come” sung by Karen Ricketts. At the young age of thirteen he started writing and performing his songs in churches in the Greater Boston area. He is a featured vocalist on the album “Worship in the Style of ‘G’” by George W. Russell where his lead vocal can be heard on the cut “Let's Worship Him.” Being well received as a solo artist, David opened for acts such as Hezekiah Walker, Derek Brinkley and Fred Hammond.
David is a prolific poetic writer whose poem "Tears" was recognized by The International Society of Poetry and his poetry is in framed form in multiple homes across Boston and other areas.
Born in Nottingham, England, David migrated to Boston, Massachusetts when he was twelve and currently lives in Dorchester, Massachusetts with his wife, Wendy.
