Making The Right Decisions To Be Blessed - Let It Go-- Then Let Them Go!

Posted by Joy Comes at 03:47 PM on June 22, 2009 Comments comments (0)

You will know them by their fruit... How can blessing and cursing come from the same fountain?... For we know that all things work together for good, to those who love the lord, to them who are the called according to his purpose... Let us there for follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.... Therefore judge nothing before the time until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God... Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks... Now thanks be unto God which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place...For we walk by faith, and not by sight...  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness: considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted...  And when you stand praying-- forgive...

Sometimes it takes decades to find out the true intents of the heart-- when you see what you see... It's Time to let it go and let them go.

"When someone shows you who they are... Believe them."

Making The Right Decisions To Get The Wealth

Posted by Joy Comes at 03:41 PM on June 22, 2009 Comments comments (0)

I've heard many say, "favor ain't fair" and that is absolutely true as it relates to God and the way he blesses his people.  He has already determined that we should and would be blessed (Deut. 28).  That blessing is Spiritual, Emotional, Social, Financial, and Physical.  Don't let any thing or anyone, hinder you from the Blessing that maketh rich.  We are always to pray and never faint, being aware of the methods of our enemy--  He comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).

The word of God brings the blessing that makes rich.  We are at an unparalleled time in our country.  If the people of God do nothing else, stop looking at the news as the only story, and begin to look under the story, for the Blessing that maketh rich.  We should as a people (God's People) remember 2 Cor. 10:5 Casting down  imaginations (reasoning's) and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (and what God is about) and begin to look for the doors, windows, and cracks whereby God is sending His blessing to His people.

The headlines are a road map that should be showing you the way.  Joyce Meyer's once taught a lesson that comes to mind now-- "We live in a upside down kingdom".  "Our world" doesn't function like "the" world.  What they say is wrong, is usually right (that's why we get many "opinions" on what we are instructed by God to  do. ) It will always seem out of place by the worlds standards.  When you look at the news I want you to "repent"  I don't mean stop watching, but I want you to do the opposite, make a 180 turn and do the opposite, it they say "sell" we need to "buy", if the world says things are bad, know (beyond a shadow of a doubt) that they are good, so good in fact that your entire life can be changed in a moment of time.  Remember God sends "His People" the blessing that makes rich and he adds no sorrow to it.

The Blessing That Maketh Rich

Posted by Joy Comes at 03:39 PM on June 22, 2009 Comments comments (0)

If we saw nothing in the past year  we can't help but admit we saw the downfall of many men, who thinking themselves wise became fools.  Our lives and livelihoods were based on the decisions some of these people made.  Fortunes were lost, companies failed, established positions of power vacated, deceivers were exposed. People who thought they were destined to win-- lost!  The fiber of a nation changed.  Entire economic systems have been challenged in ways we never thought possible.  What men thought could never be-- IS!

Don't forget the way you do things makes a difference, you can't take from others for your personal benefit and think you will be blessed.  The time when people were able to get away with anything and everything, is over.  The Body of Christ is being held responsible and accountable, your personal conduct is being watched-- not by men, but by the Holy Ghost.  If you haven't done so, it's time to repent.  Repent for the words you spoke, and for thinking that no one saw what you did, God saw you!  Repent for it is the small foxes that spoil the vine.  Begin to act as if Jesus is coming back soon.

Listen with your whole heart, obey with your whole mind, remove every barrier and move out, we are in a season of open doors and windows, but the season has limits, don't wait too long, but don't move too fast.  Nothing will be withheld from the upright. Timing is everything.

Change In 2008

Posted by Joy Comes at 03:38 PM on June 22, 2009 Comments comments (0)

If things are not changing how do you know your dream is still alive?  Many times we are uncomfortable in the face of change, that discomfort is good.  It lets you know that you are still vulnerable, and that you are still alive to the possibilities of your dream.

If things are not changing there is nothing to judge the validity of the thing you are trying to do.  Don't look at change as an enemy... perceive change as your friend.  It is a movement, whether back or forward which will propel you to what you have been wanting.

Even backward movement is good, it displays re-evaluation and the ability to modify plans, opinions, and motivation, with a forward perspective.  Everything and everyone we encounter has  been placed in our path to gain strength in purpose, and to provide experience in overcoming challenges.  Re-evaluate your position, look at change as something good, don't dread change move toward it.

A few well thought-out moves can position you in the center of your dream.  Wait doesn't mean NO it just means wait!  Think before you move, count the cost of the change, when you are satisfied that it is a good move, do it.

Fear Of Change

Fear  Of Change

Fear is no excuse, those who have gone before you, have also experienced fear, prior to any achievement or advancement.  Fear is the part that lets you know that you are not in control.  If we have faith in HIM, he will get us there, 1 Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.  Cast all your care on him and get out of the boat you can do it!

Weaknesses are meant to be overcome, we were never meant to live our entire lives, content to say, "I don't know", "I can't", "I never learned".  If you have a desire, then you have what is needed to make it happen in your life.  I challenge you today to begin to do what you have never done before.  Try what you were afraid to try. Learn what you have always made excuses for not knowing.  If one person on this earth has learned it so can you.  I didn't say it would be easy, but you can do it.  Will you want to do everything you try forever?... probably not, but at least you will have tried.

You Can Do All Things Through CHRIST Who Strengthens You!

If no one ever believed in you--Jesus does and I Do too!

My Testimony - In Part

Have you ever had times that you didn't know where you belong? Times you questioned your own worth and why you were even here in the first place? Stripped of all self-esteem, and trust, zest for life. Oh the bitterness, the anger, the rage in some instances, pain, and yes, hatred. These are but a few of the emotions I am too familiar with. No, I am not a licensed Psychologist, I am just one that has learned all I know from life experience, not from books, and want to share that with you, in the hopes of encouraging and bringing just a little of Gods light into those dark and scary places.

This is my testimony to the power and unfailing love of God. Some may think this to be somewhat tasteless, but it is also reality, which is something we tend to forget after coming to Christ, we need to remember where we come from, in order to help others get where they are going.

At your darkest point, when you feel the most alone, God will show up and show off on your behalf if you will but cling to his hand, Glory to God!  I had a wonderful childhood, unlike many, yet mine ended at age 17. At this point in time, we had decided to move away. South Texas was home to me many years, all my friends, my boyfriend, my home, my room, my school, everything familiar to me in my life, I felt it was being ripped away...It really hurt me. I tried to talk to my family, but I wasn’t heard...they didn't really "hear" me. Please, always listen to your kid’s there are times they need considered too, do you know what its like to desperately need someone to really hear you, but they won’t? When we got to Louisiana, my whole world went crazy! Within our first year there we lost 2 homes to fire. Work couldn’t be found.

I didn't even have my family like before, that too was ripped away, I felt. I tired to help just like I always had, trying to keep what little relationship we had together, in my eyes anyway. You see up until the point of moving, we had always been very close, so I couldn't understand why this change all of a sudden, and it hurt me deeply.

Little did I know this was just the start of many a nightmare. I will be condensing a lot of this as there are many years to cover.. truly this has been a journey with God; for without him I would not be here. At 17 I was allowed to date a gentleman of age 22, just back from Vietnam; I thought it was wonderful, well it wasn’t, I was date raped resulting in pregnancy of my oldest son.

Beware young people, what’s outside doesn’t necessarily reflect the motives inside.

He picked me up about 7:00 to go to the fair, by 9:00 we were leaving , and he stopped by this bar, that was on the way, he wanted a cold beer to take with him, he told me to wait in the car, you are under age, I will bring you a pop back. I waited; he brought me a coke to drink in a to go cup, I drank it down. We pulled off, pulled up to a light about 3 blocks up, and folks I passed out, completely. I remember nothing, even to this day it is just a blank space. Could this be the mercy of God protecting me from more hurt? Oh yes, indeed.

This is the hard part for me to re-live, so please bear with me. When I came to, I was lying in a strange bed, with nothing but a sheet covering me. I screamed, from the fear and humiliation of being violated in such a way, and he says to me. Shhhh, it’s ok, really its ok, I have a cab on the way and I will ride with you, to make sure you get in the house ok" How cold and sick can a person be?
